I am a second year graduate student in the Astronomy Department at the University of Minnesota. I work with Dr. Tom Jones utilizing simulations of magnetohydrodynamical flows and energetic particles to investigate the morphology of radio galaxies.
I used to work for the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics on the Chandra X-ray Observatory mission. I also took graduate astronomy classes at Harvard College Observatory. My work interests there were are on the design and coding of a massively parallel data quality control and quicklook processing system jokingly titled TT9, the Telemetry Tracker 9000.
